창업공간 '글로벌 스튜디오' 개소
시제품 양산·마케팅 등 지원대전시와 KAIST가 창업 공간인 글로벌 스튜디오를 마련하고 글로벌 스타 기업 육성을 시작했다.

대전시는 1일 서구 월평동에서‘스타트업 KAIST 글로벌 스튜디오’개소식을 열었다.시와 KAIST는 혁신 창업 기업의 성장 지원을 통한 글로벌 스타 기업 육성을 목표로‘글로벌 창업 성장 허브’사업을 진행 중이다.이를 위해 양측은 옛 한국마사회 대전지사 건축물을 KAIST 창업 공간 및 공공기관 입주 공간으로 조성했다.

글로벌 스튜디오는 1223㎡ 규모로 입주 기업 업무 공간 60석,광주 포토케이크회의 공간,광주 포토케이크세미나실,광주 포토케이크휴게 공간 등을 갖췄다.글로벌 스튜디오 운영기관인 KAIST 창업원은 KAIST가 보유한 기술 및 연구 인프라를 활용해 해외시장에 진출할 수 있는 경쟁력 있는 스타트업을 발굴·육성할 계획이다.선정된 기업은 △시제품 양산 지원 △해외 크라우드 펀딩 및 마케팅 지원 △해외 테크기업 박람회 참가 △커뮤니티&네트워킹 등을 지원받는다.

KAIST 창업원은 5일까지 입주 기업을 모집한다.
