불이 난 공장은 최근 3년간 소방시설 자체 점검에서 특별한 이상이 없다고 소방당국에 보고한 것으로 나타났습니다.

이번 대형 화재로,ssv 얀 레겐스부르크그동안의 자체 점검이 제대로 이뤄졌던 건지,ssv 얀 레겐스부르크조사가 필요하단 지적이 나옵니다.

이세흠 기자가 보도합니다.

불이 난 공장은 소방시설 자체 점검 대상입니다.

1년에 한 차례 이상 소화기와 자동화재탐지설비 등 소방시설의 이상 여부를 소방당국에 보고해야 합니다.

이 공장은 준공 이후 매년 자체 점검을 해왔습니다.

가장 최근에 한 자체 점검은 두 달여 전인 4월 15일로,ssv 얀 레겐스부르크특별한 이상이 없다고 소방당국에 알렸습니다.

올해를 비롯해 2022년과 지난해 등 최근 3년간 자체 점검 모두 마찬가지였습니다.

[공하성/우석대학교 소방방재학과 교수 : "(자체 점검 시) 소방점검업체의 점검 결과를 소방서에 제출하도록 돼 있습니다.화재 위험성이 높은 장소에 대해서는 화재예방 강화지구로 지정해서 소방관이 전문가와 함께 건물에 대한 소방점검을 별도로 (실시하기도 합니다)."]

하지만 많은 인명 피해를 부른 이번 화재로 자체 점검이 과연 제대로 이뤄졌는지 조사가 필요해 보입니다.

소방당국은 전지에 사용되는 리튬을 지정된 장소에 적절히 보관했는지도 확인할 계획입니다.

리튬은 위험물관리법상 제 3류 위험물입니다.

고온에 노출되면 스스로 불이 붙는 자연 발화성 물질,또,물과 반응하며 인화성 가스를 내뿜는 금수성 물질로 분류됩니다.

법에 따라 허가받은 공간에서만 보관과 저장이 가능합니다.

소방당국은 이번 화재와 관련해 전국 일차전지 관련 시설에 대한 긴급 안전 점검을 하기로 했습니다.
