경기남부청 반부패·경제범죄수사대는 공동공갈 혐의로 모 노조 본부장 A씨 등 4개 노조 집행부 11명을 불구속 입건해 검찰에 송치했다고 11일 밝혔다.

A씨 등은 2021년 7월부터 2022년 9월까지 경기지역 아파트 공사현장에서 건설사 책임자를 상대로 소속 조합원 고용 및 전임비 지급을 요구한 혐의를 받는다.이들은 건설사 책임자들이 요구를 들어주지 않으면 “집회를 개최해 공사를 방해하겠다”며 협박했다.

이들은 이런 수법으로 총 4000만 원 상당을 갈취했다.

경찰은 지난해 3월 첩보를 입수하고,1년간 수사를 벌인 끝에 올해 4월부터 지난달까지 A씨 등을 검거해 검찰에 넘겼다.

경찰은 지난 4월부터 건설 현장 불법행위 특별단속 기간으로 정해 강도 높은 단속을 벌이고 있다.기간은 오는 10월까지다.
