이데자와 다케시 라인야후 최고경영자(CEO)는 18일 일본 도쿄에서 열린 주주총회에서 보안 대책 강화와 관련해 "라인야후는 네이버클라우드와 직원용 시스템과 인증 기반 분리를 2024년도 중 완료하도록 추진하고 있다"며 "당사(라인야후) 자회사는 2026년도 중으로 (네이버와) 시스템 분리 완료를 예정했으나 한층 앞당길 수 있도록 할 것"이라고 했다.

그러면서 "서비스 영역에서도 거의 모든 일본 사업 영역에서 네이버와 위탁 관계를 종료하겠다"고 했다.이는 일본 포털 사이트 야후재팬의 웹사이트 검색 개발 인증에서 위탁 협력을 종료하는 것이라는 설명을 덧붙였다.또한 보안 대책 강화 방안과 관련한 구체적인 계획은 오는 7월에 공표하겠다고 했다.

일본 총무성은 지난해 11월 라인에서 발생한 개인정보 유출 사건을 계기로 라인야후에 보안 강화를 요구하는 두 차례 행정지도를 내리며 구체적인 대응책을 제시하도록 했다.이에 따라 라인야후는 오는 7월 1일까지 일본 총무성의 2차 행정지도에 대한 보고서를 제출해야 한다.
