[서울=뉴시스]이승주 기자 = 한국중견기업연합회(중견련)가 지난 12일 산업통상자원부,카지노 퀸즈타운대한무역투자진흥공사와 공동으로 '2024년 중견기업 수출·금융 첫걸음 지원정책 설명회'를 개최했다고 13일 밝혔다.

이번 설명회는 중견기업의 수출 활성화를 위해 수출 초기 기업과 내수 중견기업의 수출·금융 부문 역량 강화를 지원하기 위해 기획됐다.R&D·정책 분야를 주제로 한 제2차 설명회는 오는 27일 개최될 예정이다.

이번 설명회에는 이호준 중견련 상근부회장과 제경희 산업부 중견기업정책관,8개 지원기관을 포함해 삼일제약,코스맥스바이오 등 20여명의 중견기업 임직원이 참석했다.

설명회는 대한무역투자진흥공사,한국무역보험공사,한국수출입은행,신용보증기금,우리은행,DHL 등 7개 기관의 중견기업 전용 금융·수출 지원 프로그램 발표 및 일대일 맞춤형 상담회로 구성됐다.'중견기업 수출기업 전환 지원단'의 총괄 기관인 중견련의 지원단 운영현황 소개도 진행됐다.

중견련 관계자는 "중견기업은 전체 기업의 1.3%에 불과하지만 수출의 18%를 차지하고 있는 수출 견인 선도 기업군"이라며 "2028년까지 매년 40개 내외 유망 중견기업 발굴,수출 중견기업 200개사를 신규 확충을 목표로 '중견기업 수출기업 전환 지원단'의 내실을 강화해 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.

이 상근부회장은 "최근 5년간 수출 중견기업의 수는 연평균 2.3%,연평균 수출액은 5.3% 증가하는 등 중견기업의 수출 규모와 성과 모두 꾸준히 성장하고 있다"며 "중견기업이 글로벌 전문기업으로 성장할 수 있도록 무역 금융 확대,카지노 퀸즈타운공급망 및 물류 지원 등 중견기업의 수출 활성화를 위한 정책 마련에 적극 나서겠다"고 말했다．
