3일 금융투자업계에 따르면 키움증권은 최근 퇴직연금 사업 추진 태스크포스(TF)를 출범했다.현재 TF 구성을 마치고 퇴직연금 사업자 등록을 계획하고 있다.7명으로 꾸려진 TF는 퇴직연금 사업성 분석,태평역 로또시스템 구축,태평역 로또사업 개발 등을 담당한다.엄주성 키움증권 대표 또한 올해 초 취임 이후 퇴직연금 시장 진출 계획을 밝힌 바 있다.

키움증권은 개인형 IRP에 주력할 것으로 예상된다.국내 브로커리지 시장 점유율 1위인 만큼,태평역 로또개인 고객을 기반으로 퇴직연금 시장을 공략하겠다는 전략이다.

키움증권은 2016년부터 퇴직연금 시장의 문을 두드려왔다.이를 위해 2016년 신탁업 인가를 취득하며 퇴직연금 시장 진출을 타진했다.2016년 당시 신탁업 인가 조건이 법인 고객에 한정돼 퇴직연금 시장 진출에 한계가 있었다.이후 2020년 영상통화 방식으로 특정금전신탁 계약 체결과 운용방법 변경이 허용되고,태평역 로또2021년 신탁업 인가 조건 변경인가를 통해 개인 고객에 대해 온라인으로 신탁업을 수행할 수 있게 됐다.그러면서 퇴직연금 사업자 등록을 재추진했으나 보류했었다.

현재 개인형IRP 시장은 미래에셋증권이 압도적 1위다.미래에셋증권의 적립금 규모는 5조188억원(2024년 3월말 원리금비보장 기준)으로 삼성증권(2조4051억원),태평역 로또한국투자증권(1조7381억원),태평역 로또NH투자증권(9176억원)을 합친 것과 유사하다.온라인으로만 개인 고객에 대한 특정금전신탁 계약이 가능하다는 점을 감안해도 한국포스증권(1662억원) 수준의 적립금 확보가 가능할 것으로 예상된다.여기에 키움증권의 광범위한 개인고객 기반을 감안하면 대신증권(1786억원)이나 현대차증권(2825억원) 수준의 시장 확보를 목표로 할 것으로 전망된다.
