30대 태국인이 한국인 5명에게 장기를 기증하고 하늘로 떠났습니다.

한국장기조직기증원은 이달 5일 인제대 해운대백병원에서 푸리마 렁통쿰쿨(35) 씨가 뇌사 장기기증으로 심장,야구 레그킥폐장,야구 레그킥간장,좌우 신장을 나눠 5명을 살렸다고 오늘(10일) 밝혔습니다.

태국 방콕에 살던 렁통쿰쿨 씨는 친구와 한국을 여행하던 중 지난달 27일 의식을 잃고 쓰러졌다가 끝내 뇌사 상태가 됐습니다.

급히 한국으로 날아온 가족들은 렁통쿰쿨 씨가 다른 생명을 살려 기적을 베풀기를 바랄 것으로 믿고 기증을 결심했습니다.

이들에 따르면 환생을 믿는 태국에서는 세상을 떠나며 다른 생명을 살리는 일은 가장 큰 선행이라고 생각합니다.

방콕에서 1남 3녀 중 둘째로 태어난 렁통쿰쿨 씨는 늘 밝고,야구 레그킥다른 사람들에게 행복과 힘을 주는 긍정적인 사람이었다고 합니다.

렁통쿰쿨 씨는 방콕에서 헤어 디자이너로 일했고,야구 레그킥세계적인 디자이너가 되는 것이 꿈이었습니다.

렁통쿰쿨 씨의 어머니는 "너는 우리 삶에서 늘 최고였어.이제 편히 쉴 시간이니 다른 걱정은 하지 말고 하늘에서 편히 쉬어.우리는 항상 마음 깊은 곳에서 널 생각하고 사랑할게"라고 마지막 인사를 전했습니다.

장기조직기증원에 따르면 렁통쿰쿨 씨를 포함해 올해 외국 국적 뇌사 장기기증자는 모두 4명입니다.

앞서 장기기증 외국인은 2019년 7명,2020년 8명,2021∼2023년 각 7명씩 있었습니다.
