지난달 말 대구 서구에서 산책 중이던 90대 여성이 후진차량에 치여 사망한 사고가 뒤늦게 알려졌다.
3일 대구서부경찰서에 따르면 해당 교통사고는 지난달 27일 오전 10시 45분경 서구 국채보상로 인도 위에서 발생했다.운전자는 60대 남성으로,슬롯나라 id사고 당시 주차해둔 승합차를 다시 도로로 몰고 나가려 후진 중이었다.이때 운전자가 차량 뒤 인도를 걸어가던 피해자를 인지하지 못해 추돌했고,슬롯나라 id그대로 밟고 지나간 것으로 파악됐다.
피해자는 119구조대 도착 당시 의식이 있는 상태로 병원에 옮겨졌지만 결국 당일 사망했다.경찰은 운전자를 상대로 정확한 사고 경위를 조사 중이다.운전자는 음주운전 등 기타 혐의점은 없는 것으로 확인됐다.
서부경찰서 관계자는 "고령의 피해자는 사고 당시 혼자 인도를 산책 중이었다.피해자 과실은 없는 것으로 보고 있다"며 "수사 중인 사건이라 자세한 사항은 밝힐 수 없다"고 했다.
