(서울=연합뉴스) 김동규 기자 = 올해 초 철강업계 최초로 '격주 주4 근무제'를 도입했던 포스코가 임원에 한해 다시 '주 5일 근무제'로 복귀한다.

글로벌 경기 둔화에 중국·일본 철강 제품 유입으로 철강 업황이 악화하자 비상근무 체제로 전환했다는 분석이다.

포스코는 6일 사내 온라인 게시판에 '임원에 한해 주 4일 근무제를 주 5일 근무제로 전환한다'는 내용을 공지했다.

포스코 관계자는 "경영진부터 위기의식을 갖고 근무하자는 취지"라며 "주 5일 근무제를 일반 직원 대상으로 확대할 계획은 없다"고 말했다.

포스코 사내에서 일명 '놀금'으로 불리는 주 4일 근무제는 2주 단위로 평균 주 40시간 내 근로 시간을 유지하면 첫 번째 주에 주 5일 근무를 한 뒤 두 번째 주에 주 4일 근무하도록 한 제도다.

4조 2교대 방식으로 일하는 제철소 생산직 근로자에는 적용되지 않는다.이는 작년 11월 포스코 노사가 임금·단체 협약을 통해 합의한 내용이었다.

현재 포스코홀딩스,포스코,포스코휴먼스,포스코청암재단 등에서 이 제도를 시행 중이며,올해 하반기까지 포스코인터내셔널,포스코이앤씨 등의 그룹사로 확대할 예정이다.

포스코는 지난해 매출 38조7천720억원,파워벳 주소영업이익 2조830억원으로,전년과 비교해 매출은 8.7%,파워벳 주소영업이익은 9.2% 감소했다.

이는 태풍 '힌남도' 당시 냉천 범람에 따른 제철소 침수로 타격을 입었던 2022년보다 악화된 실적이다.
