대통령 부인 김건희 여사가 연루됐다는 의혹이 제기된 도이치모터스 주가조작 사건의 관계자들에 대한 항소심 변론이 오늘(2일) 마무리됩니다.

서울고법 형사5부는 오늘 낮 2시 10분 자본시장법 위반 혐의 등으로 재판에 넘겨진 권오수 전 도이치모터스 회장과 관계자 등 9명에 대한 결심 공판을 엽니다.

통상 선고 공판은 결심 공판 약 한 달 뒤 열리는 만큼 다음 달 중 선고가 내려질 것으로 예상됩니다.

이 사건은 권 전 회장이 2009∼2012년 이른바 '주가조작 선수'와 전·현직 증권사 임직원 등과 짜고 도이치모터스 주가를 조작했다는 내용입니다.

권 전 회장은 2021년 12월 기소돼 지난해 2월 1심에서 징역 2년에 집행유예 3년,트라다 카지노 프로모션벌금 3억 원을 선고받았습니다.

항소심에서 관심은 주가조작에 자금을 댄 혐의로 기소됐다가 1심에서 무죄를 선고받은 이른바 '전주' 손모 씨에 대한 재판부의 판단입니다.

검찰은 항소심 과정에서 주가조작 '방조' 혐의를 손 씨의 예비적 공소사실로 추가했고,트라다 카지노 프로모션재판부는 공소장 변경을 허가했습니다.

만일 손 씨가 방조 혐의만이라도 항소심에서 유죄를 선고받는다면,역시 '전주'로 의심받는 김 여사와 모친 최은순 씨에 대한 수사가 필요하다는 목소리도 커질 것으로 보입니다.
