[서울=뉴시스]이현주 기자 = 한국소비자원(소비자원)은 티몬·위메프의 대규모 정산 지연 사태로 발생한 상품권 관련 소비자피해에 대해 오는 19일부터 집단분쟁조정 신청 절차에 착수한다고 16일 밝혔다.

지난달 22일부터 지난 13일까지 1372소비자상담센터에 접수된 티몬·위메프 관련 상품권에 대한 소비자상담이 1322건에 달한 것으로 나타났다.이는 여행·숙박 다음으로 가장 많은 수치다.

신청 대상은 티몬과 위메프에서 상품권(기프티콘 포함)을 구입하고 청약철회 등을 요청했으나 대금 환급이 거부된 소비자다.

또 가맹점에서 사용이 중지돼 상품권 잔여금액의 환급을 요구했으나 거절당한 소비자도 포함한다.

특히 현재 사용이 불가능한 해피머니 상품권은 구매처와 관계없이 신청 대상에 포함할 계획이다.

소비자들은 소비자원 누리집을 통해 오는 19일부터 27일까지 집단분쟁조정 참가를 신청할 수 있다.
