[연합뉴스 제공] 지난주 5만달러선으로 내렸던 비트코인 가격이 이주 6만달러선을 회복한데 이어 최근 비트코인 가격 하락 요인으로 꼽혔던 마운트곡스 상환만 해결되면 연내 15만달러까지 상승할 수 있다는 전망이 나왔다.

2일 코인마켓캡에 따르면 이날 오후 5시 35분 기준 비트코인은 1BTC당 6만2600달러선에서 거래되고 있다.전일 대비 0.66% 내린 가격이지만,국내형스포츠1주일 전과 비교하면 3% 이상 올랐다.

지난달 초 7만달러를 넘어섰던 비트코인 가격은 지난 24일 10년 전 파산한 거래소 마운트곡스가 사용자에게 비트코인 상환을 시작한다는 소식이 전해지며 급락했다.6월 25일과 29일에는 6만달러가 붕괴되기도 했다.

마운트곡스가 보유한 암호화폐는 약 90억달러(12조5000억원)에 달한다.현재 잠금 상태로 보관 중인 해당 암호화폐를 이달부터 기존 사용자에게 상환할 경우 시장 참여자들이 매도 압력을 받을 수 있다는 분석이 나오면서 가격이 요동쳤다.

하지만 펀드스트랫의 톰 리서치 헤드는 마운트곡스 상환만 해결되면 비트코인이 연말까지 15만달러(2억1000만원)에 도달할 것이라고 주장했다.

톰 리는 1일(현지시간) CNBC에 "마운트 곡스 상환 문제가 해결되면 비트코인이 15만 달러에 도달할 것"이라며 "이달 시작되는 상환 때문에 고통받고 있지만,국내형스포츠이 장애물이 7월에 사라질 것이란 사실을 알고 있어 올해 하반기에는 상당한 반등을 기대할 수 있다고 생각한다"고 말했다.

톰 리 외 가상자산 전문가들도 비트코인 가격이 바닥에 근접했다는 분석을 속속 내놓고 있다.가상자산 매체 코인데스크는 "6월28일 BTC 코인베이스 프리미엄(바이낸스와의 가격 차)이 -0.19까지 하락했는데 이는 FTX 붕괴 이후 가장 낮은 수치"라며 "이는 비트코인 가격이 바닥에 근접했음을 시사한다"고 분석했다.
