(대전=뉴스1) 김종서 기자 = 국가철도공단과 한국철도공사(코레일)가 26일 철도공동사옥에서‘제11회 철도발전협력회의’를 개최했다.

회의에는 임종일 국가철도공단 부이사장,월드컵 첫골의 주인공정정래 한국철도공사 부사장을 비롯한 경영진이 참석했다.양 기관은 철도건설·개량사업 추진현황을 공유하고 현안 및 이견 해소에 적극적으로 소통·협력하기로 약속했다.

임종일 철도공단 부이사장은 “철도발전협력회의는 공단과 공사 양 기관의 중요한 연결고리이자 소통창구로 의미가 깊다”며 “앞으로도 철도발전협력회의를 지속적으로 열어 협력을 이어나갈 것”이라고 말했다.

정정래 코레일 부사장은 “새로운 노선 개통과 낡은 인프라 개선 등 국민생활에 밀접한 철도 현안을 함께 해결해 나갈 것”이라고 밝혔다.
