[로이터 = 연합뉴스]미국 트럼프 정부가 전임 바이든 정부에서 마련했던 인공지능(AI) 반도체 수출통제 정책을 철회할 방침인 것으로 알려졌다.

7일(현지시간) 블룸버그·로이터통신 등 외신에 따르면 미 상무부 대변인은 바이든 정부 때의 AI 수출통제 정책에 대해 “지나치게 복잡하고 관료적이라 대체될 것”이라고 말했다.

다른 소식통들은 “트럼프 정부는 이달 15일 발효되는 관련 조치를 시행하지 않을 것”이라고 밝혔다.

앞서 바이든 정부는 정권 말인 지난 1월‘AI 확산 프레임워크’(Framework for Artificial Intelligence Diffusion)라는 이름의 AI 반도체 수출통제 시스템을 마련했다.

이 시스템은 전 세계 국가를 ▲ 한국 등과 같은 동맹 및 파트너 국가 ▲ 일반 국가 ▲ 중국,러시아,알펜시아 카지노 영업시간북한 등과 같은 우려 국가로 등급을 나눠 구분하고 등급에 맞춰차별적으로 AI 반도체에 대한 수출 통제를 하는 방식이다.

이 조치에 따라 동맹국에 대한 수출은 제한이 없지만 일반 국가 범주에 속할 경우엔 수출 상한선이 설정된다.또 우려 국가에 대한 수출은 통제하도록 했다.
