가볍고 부피 줄인 안전모 2022년부터 개발현대글로비스가 화물차 운전 직원들에게 맞춤형 안전모를 개발해 지급했다.

현대글로비스는 자동차 운반트럭(카캐리어) 운전원들에게 이같은 장비를 지급했다고 5일 밝혔다.

이 안전모는 2022년부터 현대글로비스가 자체 개발한 장비다.무게 250g으로 기존의 산업용 안전모 대비 부피는 16%,하이 바둑이무게는 14% 줄였다.화물차 운전원의 경우 차량에 화물을 상하차하는 과정 등에서 물품이 머리 위로 떨어지거나 운전원 본인이 차량 아래로 추락할 위험이 있기 때문에 안전모와 같은 보호구 착용은 필수다.

앞서 지난달 26~27일 울산과 광주,하이 바둑이충남 아산과 서산 등의 사무소에서 안전캠페인을 진행하고 총 1500개의 안전모를 화물차 운전원에게 전달했다.향후 해당 안전모를 타 분야의 화물차 운전원들도 자유롭게 구매할 수 있도록 할 계획이다.

현대글로비스 관계자는 "현대글로비스가 개발한 경량안전모가 화물차 운전원들의 안전사고를 예방하는 데 조금이나마 보탬이 되길 희망한다"고 밝혔다.
