사귀다 헤어진 여성을 찾아가 흉기를 휘두른 남성이 경찰에 붙잡혔습니다.

서울 영등포경찰서는 어젯밤 50대 남성을 살인미수와 특수상해 등 혐의로 체포해 조사 중입니다.

남성은 어젯밤 9시 20분쯤 전 연인인 60대 여성이 운영하는 가게로 찾아와 미리 준비한 흉기로 여성의 목과 등 부위를 찌른 혐의를 받습니다.다행히 피해 여성은 생명에는 지장이 없는 걸로 전해졌습니다.

범행 모습을 발견한 주변 상인과 손님들이 남성을 제압해 경찰관에게 넘겼는데,파주 영어마을이 과정에서 남성이 휘두른 흉기에 40대 시민이 팔 부위를 다친 걸로 확인됐습니다.

이웃에서 가게를 운영하는 목격자 A 씨는 "옆 가게에서 '악' 소리가 나서 나와보니 가게 안에 혈흔이 보이고 남성 한 명이 문 앞에 넘어져 있었다"며 "주변에서 술 마시던 사람들이 넘어진 남자를 제압했다"고 말했습니다.

남성은 경찰 조사에서 "여성과 사귀는 사이였다"면서 "연락을 받지 않아 화가 났다"고 진술한 걸로 전해졌습니다.

경찰은 남성에게 살인미수 등 혐의 등을 적용해 구속영장을 신청할 방침입니다.
