제프 베이조스 아마존 창업자 겸 회장과 젠슨 황 엔비디아 창업자 겸 최고경영자(CEO)가 보유 주식을 팔고 있다.

3일(현지시간) 블룸버그통신 등 외신에 따르면 베이조스 회장은 2일 장 마감 후 미국 증권거래위원회(SEC)에 아마존 주식 2500만주를 매도할 계획이라고 신고했다.이날 아마존 주가는 200달러까지 오르며 1997년 기업공개(IPO) 이후 최고가를 기록했는데,분데스리가 득점 순위베이조스 회장이 팔겠다는 주식은 50억 달러(6조9000억원) 규모다.아마존 주가는 올해 들어 32% 뛰었다.

엔비디아의 황 CEO는 지난달에만 자사 주식 30만주를 매도했다.11억6900만 달러(2344억원) 규모다.공교롭게도 처분 시점은 엔비디아 시가총액이 3조 달러(4141조원)를 처음 넘어섰을 때였다고 한다.앞서 황 CEO는 내년 3월까지 엔비디아 주식 60만주(10분의 1 액면분할 전)를 팔겠다고 밝힌 바 있다.지난달 매각은 이 계획에 따른 것이란 설명이다.반면 이 기간 서학개미는 엔비디아 주식 12억209만 달러치를 사들였다.

미 증시 활황세를 이끌어온 대장주 수장들이 보유주식 매도에 나서면서 이를 주가 정점의 신호로 바라보는 시선도 있다.두 기업 모두 주가가 사상 최고가를 기록한 상황에서 현재 주가가 정점이라고 판단해 매도를 계획한 것 아니냐는 분석이다.
