현재 빈소는 아직 마련되지 않았습니다.

이곳에 안치된 사망자 6명 외에도 3명이 심정지 상태로 병원으로 옮겨졌지만 모두 숨졌습니다.

사고를 낸 가해 차량 운전자도 병원 치료를 받고 있다고요?

네,이번 사고의 가해 차량 운전자는 60대 남성,김천출장마사지A씨인데요.

사고 현장에서 검거됐습니다.

그러나 그 직후 갈비뼈에 통증을 호소해서 일단 병원으로 이송된 상태입니다.

차량에 함께 타고 있던 여성도 허리 등을 다쳐 병원으로 옮겨졌습니다.

A 씨는 교통사고처리특례법상 과실치사상 혐의를 받습니다.

A 씨는 사고 직후 경찰에 급발진으로 인한 사고라고 주장한 것으로 알려졌습니다.

경찰은 A씨가 운전 당시 음주나 약물을 한 건 아니라고 보고 있습니다.

경찰은 A씨가 부상에서 회복하는 정도를 보고 이르면 오늘 추가 조사를 진행할 예정입니다.

또,CCTV와 차량 블랙박스 등도 분석해 사고 경위와 원인을 신속하게 수사한다는 방침입니다.

서울 남대문경찰서는 오늘 오전 10시에 이번 사고와 관련한 브리핑을 연다고 공지했습니다.
