(서울=연합뉴스) 전재훈 기자 = 국내 주류업계 최초 올림픽 공식 파트너사로 선정된 카스가 2024 파리올림픽 개막을 한 달 앞둔 26일 본격적인 국가대표 선수단 응원에 나섰다.

카스는 이날 오전 서울 광진구 워커힐 호텔에서 '공식 파트너십 기념행사'를 개최했다.

카스는 "논알코올(Non-alcoholic·무알코올) 맥주 '카스 0.0(제로)'을 앞세워 올림픽 개막 전부터 대회 기간에 국내 외 대국민 응원 마케팅에 나설 예정"이라고 밝혔다.

무알코올 음료인 카스 제로가 올림픽 공식 글로벌 파트너 음료로 지정된 것은 처음이라고 카스는 강조했다.

배하준 오비맥주 대표는 "카스는 이번 올림픽 파트너십을 계기로 사람들의 마음을 모아 선수단의 선전을 응원하고,야구와사람들 군산점화합의 순간을 끌어낼 것이라 기대한다"고 밝혔다.

서혜연 오비맥주 내셔널브랜드 총괄 부사장은 "인류가 하나가 되는 축제인 올림픽에서 카스는 팀 코리아를 위해 화합의 메시지를 전할 것"이라고 말했다.

국제올림픽위원회(IOC) 공식 파트너 자격을 얻은 카스는 지난 달 말 '카스 프레시'와 카스 0.0'의 '올림픽 에디션'을 출시했다.

카스는 TV 광고와 인플루언서(사회적 영향력이 큰 사람) 협업 제작물로 올림픽 응원에 나설 예정이다.

특히 '2024 파리올림픽 팀코리아 응원가'로 선정된 '파이팅 해야지'의 주인공인 그룹 세븐틴 부석순과 인공지능(AI) 응원 영상 서비스,야구와사람들 군산점한정판 굿즈 등을 선보일 계획이다.

아울러 카스는 올림픽 기간에 에펠탑 근처에 문을 연 '코리아 하우스'에서 한국 주류 문화를 테마로 '카스 포차'를 운영한다.
