몽골 국회의원 총선거가 오늘(28일) 몽골 전역에서 치러졌습니다.

중국 관영 신화통신과 AP통신 등에 따르면 몽골 총선은 이날 오전 7시(이하 현지시간)부터 수도 울란바토르의 9개 지구와 전국 21개 주 2천198개 투표소에서 시작돼 오후 10시 종료됐습니다.

국회의원 126명을 선출하는 이번 총선은 각 선거구에서 최다 득표 방식으로 78명을 뽑고 비례대표로 48명을 선출하는 방식으로 치러집니다.

선거에는 19개 정당,슬롯 커뮤 njor두 연합정당,슬롯 커뮤 njor무소속 후보 1천294명이 출사표를 던졌다.

여성 후보자는 약 30% 수준인 것으로 전해졌습니다.

이번 총선 유권자는 인구 350만 명 223만 8천여 명입니다.

관영 신화통신은 몽골 선거관리위원회를 인용해,슬롯 커뮤 njor이번 총선의 투표율은 69.3%로 추산됐다고 전했습니다.

이번 총선은 4년 전인 2020년 총 76석이었던 국회의원 의석수가 126석으로 늘어난 이후 처음으로 치러지는 선거여서 주목됩니다.

몽골 국회는 지난해 5월 의원 수를 76명에서 126명으로 늘리는 개정안을 통과시켰습니다.

개표 윤곽은 29일 오전에 나올 것으로 보입니다.
