LG유플러스.연합뉴스국내 통신주 중 기업가치가 극도로 저평가된 LG유플러스가 배당 매력 증대,아담 피어슨인공지능(AI) 신성장 동력 확보로 밸류업에 나선다.

15일 한국거래소에 따르면 LG유플러스 주가는 연중 5.57% 하락했다.LG유플러스의 주가순자산비율(PBR)은 0.49배로,아담 피어슨경쟁사인 SK텔레콤(1배),KT(0.57배) 대비 극도로 저평가돼 있다.

올 상반기 영업이익이 전년 동기 대비 13.4% 감소하면서,투자 심리가 위축된 영향으로 풀이된다.다만 증권가에선 LG유플러스의 확대된 배당 매력이 주가의 하방 지지력으로 작용할 것이라고 분석한다.

현재 LG유플러스의 기대 배당수익률은 연간 6.2% 수준이다.배당수익률은 2021년 3.9%에서 2022년 5.5%로 꾸준히 증가 중이다.

배당성향도 2021년 35%,2022년 42.2%,2023년 43.2%로 개선 추세다.LG유플러스는 2026년까지 연간 배당금 규모를‘최소 2023년 수준’으로 유지하기로 결정하면서,주주들의 현금 배당 감소 우려에대응했다.

황성진 흥국증권 연구원은 “이익 성장이 다소 정체되고 있으나 하반기 이후 점진적인 수익성 회복이 예상된다”며 “현재 기업가치는 최저 수준으로,가격 매력도는 충분하다”고 밝혔다.

LG유플러스는 주주 친화적인 배당 정책에도 앞장서고 있다.올해 중간 배당부터 정부의‘선 배당금 확정 후 배당기준일 설정’정책에 동참하고 있다.

AI 신성장 동력에도 앞장선다.2028년까지 기업간거래(B2B) 부문 AI 사업 매출액을 2조원까지 끌어올릴 계획이다.

특히 AI 사업과 직결된 인터넷데이터센터(IDC)는 6개 분기 연속 두 자릿수 성장률을 보이고 있다.

김장원 BNK투자증권 연구원은 “최소한의 투자로 최대의 효과를 거두는 AI로 비용 효율화에 의한 수익 개선을 기대한다”고 말했다.
