7일 현대제철에 따르면 서 사장은 지난 5일 창립 71주년을 앞두고 당진제철소 기술연구소에서 타운홀 미팅을 열고 이같이 말했다.이날 타운홀 미팅은 현장 참여자 50여명 외에 각 팀과 개인 참석자들이 600여개 회선을 통해 온라인으로 접속한 가운데 전 사업장에 생중계됐다.

서 사장은 개인 신상에 대해 소개하는 'SEO치 현대제철'과 임직원들 사전·현장 질문에 답변하는 '무엇이든 물어보CEO' 등의 코너를 이끌었다.

서 사장은 현대제철 비전과 역할에 대해 임직원들과 허심탄회한 의견을 나눴고 본인 사례를 들어 직원 개인의 성장을 위한 조언도 아끼지 않았다.
