이날 박천동 북구청장과 쏘카 김신명 카셰어링본부장은 양해각서를 체결하고,트위치 로또북구가 미래모빌리티 선도도시로 나아가는데 함께 노력하기로 했다.

이번 협약에 따라 북구와 쏘카는 북울산역 KTX-이음 유치를 위해 상호 협조한다.

이와 함께 모빌리티 선도도시 구축을 위한 상호 협력기반 마련,트위치 로또쏘카가 보유한 모빌리티 기술력과 양질의 데이터를 바탕으로 지속가능한 교통 시스템 발전 협력,트위치 로또북울산역 공영주차장 내 카셰어링 전용공간 조성 협력 등을 약속했다.

또 쏘카 모두의주차장 온라인 주차 플랫폼 활용,공영주차장 활성화 협력,트위치 로또첨단기술을 활용한 산업단지 및 염포·양정동 주차난 해소 방안 마련 등에도 힘을 모으기로 했다.

박천동 북구청장은 "쏘카와 북울산역 KTX-이음 유치를 위해 함께 노력해 긍정적인 결과를 얻길 기대한다"며 "이번 협약이 전국 최고의 미래모빌리티 선도도시로 나아가는 계기가 되길 희망한다"고 말했다.

앞서 북구는 쏘카의 협조로 차량 정차 빅데이터를 분석해 북울산역 KTX-이음 미래 이용수요를 분석한 바 있다.

북구와 인근 경주에 60분 이상 정차한 쏘카 차량 데이터를 자체 분석한 결과 북울산역 KTX-이음을 이용할 잠재적 수요가 연간 42만4000명에 달하는 것으로 예상됐다.
