삼성SDI가 배터리 전문 인력 양성을 위한 채용 연계형 계약학과로 성균관대학교에 '배터리공학과'를 신설한다.

삼성SDI는 지난 11일 경기 수원시 성균관대 자연과학캠퍼스에서 성균관대와 '배터리공학과 설치 협약식'을 개최했다고 12일 밝혔다.

성균관대 배터리공학과는 채용 연계형 계약학과다.공과대학 학사 4년제 과정으로 운영하며,야구 볼 배합2026년부터 10년 동안 매년 30명의 신입생을 선발할 예정이다.

배터리공학과 입학생들은 배터리 소재부터 셀,모듈,야구 볼 배합팩까지 맞춤형 교육을 받는다.이후 졸업을 하면 삼성SDI에 입사할 수 있는 혜택이 주어진다.

배터리공학과 신설은 글로벌 전기차 시장을 중심으로 급성장하는 배터리 분야를 선도할 전문 인력을 육성하기 위해 마련했다.

삼성SDI는 2021년부터 서울대,성균관대,유니스트,카이스트,포스텍,한양대 등과 배터리 우수인재양성 과정을 운영 중이다.
