낙차가 무려 314m에 달해 1년 내내 관광객이 줄지어 찾는 윈타이산의 대표 절경이지요.

그런데 최근 한 관광객이 폭포 위에서 수상한 걸 발견했습니다.

알고 보니 대형 수도관을 통해 인공적으로 물을 공급하고 있었습니다.

영상을 접한 누리꾼들,데이비스컵'천연 폭포인 줄 알았더니 가짜였다',데이비스컵'사람들을 속여 입장료를 받은 것이냐'며 황당해 했는데요.

논란이 커지자 윈타이산 풍경구 측은 '물이 부족한 건기 시기에 관광객의 즐거움을 보장하기 위한 보조장치'라고 해명했습니다.

폭포 자체는 수억 년의 지질변화로 만들어진 자연 폭포라는 겁니다.

중국에서 이런 논란은 처음이 아닙니다.

지난해에도 허난성과 산둥성에 있는 폭포의 발원지가 급수관이라는 사실이 밝혀져 논란이 인 적이 있습니다.
