[앵커]

국가대표 출신 전직 야구선수 오재원 씨가 마약류 투약 혐의로 재판을 받고 있는 가운데,왕관 도안오 씨에게 수면제 등을 대리 처방 받아 제공한 혐의로 전현직 야구선수 등 29명이 검찰에 추가 송치됐습니다.

이 가운데 현직 야구선수만 9명에 이르는데 모두 오 씨의 전 소속팀인 두산 베어스 소속이었습니다.

박경준 기자의 보도입니다.

[리포트]

필로폰 등을 상습 투약한 혐의로 재판을 받고 있는 전직 프로야구 선수 오재원 씨.

[오재원/전 프로야구 선수/지난 3월 : "(마약은 언제부터 투여하신 겁니까?선수이실 때도 한 건가요?)."]

향정신성의약품 등을 대신 처방 받아 오 씨에게 제공한 전현직 야구선수와 병원관계자 등 25명이 추가로 검찰에 넘겨졌습니다.

이 가운데는 오 씨가 과거 소속됐던 두산 베어스 현직 선수 9명과 트레이너도 포함됐습니다.

오 씨가 은퇴한 뒤 운영한 야구 아카데미 수강생의 학부모도 범행에 가담한 것으로 조사됐습니다.

오 씨에게 필로폰을 제공한 3명도 함께 검찰에 송치됐습니다.

오 씨는 이렇게 지난 2020년부터 지인들을 이용해 수면제 등을 대신 처방받은 것으로 조사됐습니다.

오 씨의 은퇴 시점은 2022년 10월,왕관 도안현역 선수 시절부터 수면제 등을 불법 투약한 혐의가 드러난 겁니다.

두산 측은 이 사건에 연루된 현역 선수들의 경기 출전을 배제한 상태입니다.

오 씨는 투약 사실을 폭로하려던 지인을 상대로 보복 폭행과 협박을 한 혐의로도 기소됐는데,왕관 도안해당 혐의에 대해 "전혀 사실이 아니다"라며 부인하고 있습니다.
