9월말까지 미디어월 상영…공모전 이미지 영상화·해치&프렌즈 전시도

(서울=연합뉴스) 김기훈 기자 = 서울시는 광화문광장 해치마당 미디어월에서 올해 두 번째 미디어아트 전시를 개최한다고 1일 밝혔다.

전시는 시민 아이디어 콘텐츠 공모전과 시의 상징 캐릭터인 '해치와 소울 프렌즈' 상설전으로 구성됐다.이날부터 9월 30일까지 3개월간 매일 오전 8시부터 오후 10시까지 관람할 수 있다.

시민 아이디어 콘텐츠 공모전에서는 18명(팀)의 시민 작품을 영상화한 2D 애니메이션,아담 랄라나3D 그래픽 등 콘텐츠를 만나볼 수 있다.

시는 지난 한 달간 서울의 상징적 의미를 지닌 '광화문 광장의 여름'과 '해치와 소울 프렌즈'를 주제로 공모전을 진행했다.

공모를 통해 선정된 회화,아담 랄라나일러스트,스케치 등의 평면 이미지와 이야기에 모션그래픽 기술을 더해 영상으로 전시작품이 완성됐다.

새롭게 단장한 서울시 캐릭터 해치와 소울 프렌즈 관련 전시도 이어진다.

'다함께 여름'은 해치와 소울 프렌즈가 즐기는 여름의 모습을 감각적으로 표현했다.

김서영 작가의 '여름 속,아담 랄라나숨은 해치'는 숨은그림찾기 게임 형식으로 제작됐다.

작품 속 해치를 찾아 SNS 인스타그램 스토리에 업로드하면 추첨을 통해 경품을 주는 이벤트도 진행한다.

최인규 서울시 디자인정책관은 "이번 전시는 시민의 참여와 창의성이 돋보이는 의미 있는 기획"이라며 "미디어아트가 누구나 친근하게 다가갈 수 있는 빛의 예술로 느껴지는 계기가 되길 바란다"고 말했다.
