경북에서 밭일하던 50대 여성이 엽사가 쏜 총에 맞아 숨지는 사고가 발생했다.

14일 경북 영주경찰서는 밭에서 일하던 50대 여성을 멧돼지로 오인해 엽총으로 쏜 혐의(업무상 과실치사)로 A씨(67)를 조사하고 있다고 밝혔다.

A씨는 전날 오후 8시 30분쯤 영주시 장수면 소룡리 한 콩밭에서 B씨(57)를 향해 산탄총을 쏜 혐의를 받고 있다.

왼쪽 가슴 부위에 산탄총을 맞은 B씨는 인근 병원으로 옮겨졌지만,야구 국가대표 프로필2시간 뒤인 오후 10시 30분쯤 숨졌다.

조사 결과 영주시에서 유해조수 포획 허가를 받은 A씨는 사고 발생 후 직접 119에 신고한 것으로 확인됐다.

경찰 관계자는 "일몰 후 어두운 상황에서 A씨가 B씨를 야생동물로 파악한 것 같다"며 "정확한 사고 경위를 조사하고 있다"고 말했다.
