서울시가 장기입원 중인 의료급여 수급자 중 외래진료가 가능한 환자에게 집에서 필요한 서비스를 제공하는 재가 의료급여 사업을 확대한다.

서울시는 그동안 일부 자치구에서 시범 운영하던 재가 의료급여 사업을 내달부터 25개 모든 자치구로 확대한다고 27일 밝혔다.

집에서 머물며 치료를 지속할 수 있도록 의료를 비롯해 돌봄·식사·이동·주거 등 통합서비스를 제공한다.의료급여 수급자로 장기입원 중인 대상자 등 의료적 필요도가 낮으면서도 퇴원하더라도 안정적인 주거가 있거나 주거 연계가 가능한 사람이 대상이다.

이를 위해 각 자치구는 올 상반기 사업에 참여할 관내외 의료기관 및 돌봄·식사·이동 서비스를 제공할 기관을 발굴,협력체계를 구축했다.하반기부터 장기입원 의료급여 수급권자 중 재가 생활이 가능한 대상자를 선정해 서비스를 제공한다.

협력의료기관과 연계해 대상자 필요도 평가 및 지원계획을 수립하고 내원을 돕는 한편 필요 시 의사가 방문해 의료·복지·영양·상담·모니터링을 수행한다.

서비스는 대상자의 건강 수준과 생활 실태 모니터링 결과에 따라 퇴원 시점부터 1년까지 제공한다.필요할 경우 대상자 평가를 통해 1년 추가 연장할 수 있다.올 하반기 월 평균 200여을 발굴·지원한다는 계획이다.

정상훈 서울시 복지정책실장은 "다양한 복지서비스를 병원이 아닌 가정에서 편안하게 받으실 수 있도록 재가 의료급여 사업을 확대한다"며 "의료를 비롯한 각종 복지 서비스를 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 정책을 다각적으로 발굴하고 추진하겠다"고 말했다.
