올해 4월 시중에 풀린 돈이 11개월 연속으로 증가하며 사상 처음으로 4000조원을 돌파했다.조기 금리 인하 기대감이 줄어들면서 은행 정기 예·적금 등에 시중 자금이 몰린 영향으로 풀이된다.

한국은행이 14일 발표한 '2024년 4월 통화 및 유동성'에 따르면 4월 M2(광의통화,평잔)는 전월 대비 16조7000억원 증가한 4013조원을 기록하며 사상 첫 4000조원을 돌파했다.다만 증가율로는 전월 대비 0.4% 늘며 3월(+1.7%,66조3000억원)보다 상승폭이 축소됐다.

M2는 현금과 요구불예금,수시입출식 저축성 예금 등 협의통화(M1)에 머니마켓펀드(MMF),로또 싱가폴2년 미만 정기 예·적금,수익증권,환매조건부채권(RP) 등을 포함하는 넓은 의미의 통화 지표다.

금융상품별로는 수시입출식저축성예금(전월대비 -7조3000억원),요구불예금(-2조8000억원) 등이 감소한 반면 정기예적금(+10조2000억원),로또 싱가폴시장형상품(+7조9000억원),수익증권(+6조9000억원) 등이 증가했다.

이지선 한은 경제통계국 금융통계팀 과장은 "4월은 교육교부금 교부에 따른 기저효과와 금과 정기예적금,IPO 청약 등으로 자금이 유출됐다"면서도 "통화 정책 피벗 지연 우려와 중동지역 분쟁 등으로 안전자산 수요가 늘며 2년 미만 정기예금은 증가했다"고 설명했다.

경제 주체별로는 기업(+18조9000억원),기타금융기관(+2조5000억원),가계 및 비영리단체(+1조7000억원) 등이 증가했지만,기타부문(-6조원)은 감소했다.

단기자금 지표인 M1은 1234조8000억원으로,수시입출식저축성예금과 요구불예금이 줄며 전월 대비 9조6000억원 감소했다.

금융기관유동성(Lf·평잔)은 전월 대비 10조6000억원 증가했고,광의유동성은 전월 말 대비 30조6000억원 감소했다.
