제주도에서 몇달전 논란이 된 '비계 삼겹살' [온라인 커뮤니티 캡처]

[헤럴드경제=김성훈 기자] '비계 삼겹살'로 홍역을 치른 제주에서 이번에는 수입산 돼지고기를 제주산이라 속인 음식점들이 적발됐다.

국립농산물품질관리원 제주지원은 도내 주요 관광지와 유명 음식점,축산물 유통업체를 대상으로 지난달 22일부터 이달 9일까지 일제 단속을 실시한 결과,농식품 부정 유통 업체 12곳(품목 14건)을 적발했다고 14일 밝혔다.

적발된 곳을 보면,A 음식점은 미국산 목전지 부위와 스페인산 삼겹살을 제주산으로 거짓 표시했다.구이용 돼지고기는 제주산을 이용했지만,수욕,제육볶음,오버워치 월드컵 미국두부김치 등에 미국산이나 스페인산 돼지고기를 사용한 것으로 알려졌다.원산지 거짓 표시 물량은 1239.71㎏,위반 금액은 4016만원에 달한다.

B 음식점은 다른 시도에서 난 돼지고기를 제주산으로 거짓 표시했다.위반 물량은 3856㎏,금액은 3817만원이다.

이 2곳을 비롯해 돼지고기 원산지를 거짓 표시한 업체 4곳에 대해서는 수사가 진행되고 있다.

또 원산지를 표시하지 않거나 표시 방법을 위반한 업체,오버워치 월드컵 미국축산물이력제를 거짓 표시한 유통업체 등 8곳은 각각 300만원의 과태료가 부과됐다.위반 품목별로 보면 돼지고기 10건,오버워치 월드컵 미국쇠고기 3건,닭고기 1건이다.
