18일 블룸버그통신에 따르면 비트코인 1개당 가격은 이날 오전 6만4천588달러까지 내려갔다가 오후 4시 현재 6만5천500달러 선에서 움직이고 있다.

이는 지난달 중순 이래 가장 낮은 수준이다.

코인쉐어즈 인터내셔널 데이터를 보면 지난주 디지털 자산 상품에서 약 6억달러(약 8천300억원) 이상 빠져나갔는데,이는 3월 이후 최대 규모다.

디지털 자산 운용사인 그레이스케일은 가상화폐 관련 규모 2위인 그레이스케일 비트코인 상장지수펀드(ETF)에서 지난주 2억7천400만달러 이상이 유출됐다고 밝혔다.

피델리티와 ARK의 비트코인 펀드에서도 각각 약 1억5천만달러씩 빠져나갔다.

가상화폐 관련 뉴스레터를 작성하는 노엘 애치슨은 비트코인 ETF에 들어온 자금 상당 부분은 신규 자금이 아니고 기존 비트코인 보유자가 옮겨 넣은 것일 수 있다고 봤다.

그는 "새로운 자금이 들어와야 가격이 움직일 것"이라고 말했다.

JP모건은 올해 비트코인 ETF에 순유입된 자금 150억달러 중에 진짜 신규는 120억달러라고 추정했다.

이는 2021년의 450억달러,2022년의 400억달러보다 적다.
