(춘천=연합뉴스) 박영서 기자 = 강원경찰청은 10일 국민체육진흥공단,봉황기 전국고교야구대회 4강결과한국도박문제예방치유원과 도박 범죄 근절을 위한 업무협약을 맺었다.

이번 협약으로 국민체육진흥공단은 불법 도박에 이용된 사이트 주소와 범행 계좌정보 등 사건 수사에 필요한 자료를 경찰에 신속하게 제공한다.

한국도박문제예방치유원은 학교전담경찰관(SPO) 대상 교육 프로그램을 더 활성화하고,봉황기 전국고교야구대회 4강결과경찰에서 단속한 도박 청소년을 대상으로 선도프로그램과 개별 상담 운영 등 재범 방지 활동을 보다 활발하게 진행한다.

협약식에는 김준영 강원경찰청장과 조현재 국민체육진흥공단 이사장,봉황기 전국고교야구대회 4강결과신미경 한국도박문제예방치유원장 등이 참석했다.

김준영 청장은 "최근 청소년층이 스마트폰 등을 이용해 불법 도박 유혹에 빠지는 사례가 늘고 있다"며 "도박 범죄 근절과 효율적인 예방·치유 활동을 위해 기관 간 적극적으로 협업해달라"고 당부했다.
