(서울=연합뉴스) 조성미 기자 = KT가 11일 보이스피싱 범죄에 사용되는 번호를 네트워크상에서 긴급 차단할 수 있는 '긴급 망 차단 서비스'를 개발했다고 밝혔다.

KT는 이를 이용해 자사 망을 사용 중인 범죄 혐의점이 있는 회선의 차단을 시작했다.

KT는 지금까지 수사기관 요청에 따라 범죄 회선을 이용 정지하려면 최소 만 하루가 걸렸지만,온카 검증긴급 망 차단 시스템 도입으로 범죄 혐의 회선의 수·발신을 바로 차단할 수 있다고 설명했다.

이 회사는 하반기 안으로 인공지능(AI) 기술을 활용한 '실시간 보이스피싱 탐지' 서비스 개발을 마치고 연내 출시한다는 계획도 밝혔다.

KT는 실시간 보이스피싱 탐지 기능을 월 600만 명 이상이 사용하는 스팸 차단 애플리케이션 '후후'에 먼저 탑재하고,온카 검증향후 금융권 등으로 서비스를 확대할 방침이다.

이 서비스는 클라우드 등 외부에 데이터를 연동하지 않은 온디바이스 AI로 민감한 개인정보가 포함된 음성 통화 데이터가 보호된다.

한편,온카 검증KT는 기지국 신호 기반으로 대략적 위치를 추정하던 분실 휴대전화 위치 찾기 서비스를 GPS와 와이파이 신호까지 고려한 '복합 측위' 방식으로 변경해 정확도와 편의성을 높였다고 덧붙였다.
