지난주 크게 흔들렸던 뉴욕 증시는 경기 침체 우려가 채 가시지 않은 가운데 비교적 차분한 한 주를 보내고 있는데요.

오늘 발표된 생산자물가지수가 둔화세를 보이면서,투자 심리를 이끌었습니다.

미국 7월 생산자물가지수 'PPI'는 한 해 전보다 2.2% 상승하며,현대 통근버스 오토버스직전 월 2.7%에 비해 크게 둔화한 것으로 나타났습니다.

전월 대비로는 0.1% 상승으로,현대 통근버스 오토버스시장 예상치 0.2%보다 낮았습니다.

생산자 물가는 일정 시차를 두고 최종 소비재 가격에 반영되기 때문에 물가상승 압력을 보여주는 선행지표로 여겨집니다.

이제 시장 참가자들은 내일 나올 소비자물가지수 'CPI'에 주목하고 있습니다.

CPI 상승률 역시 둔화한다면 미국 경제가 연착륙할 거란 기대감은 더욱 커질 것으로 보입니다.

뉴욕 증시 3대 지수는 모두 상승 마감했습니다.

나스닥은 2% 넘게 상승하며 지난 1일 이후 8거래일 만에 1만 7천 선을 회복했습니다.

미국 주식시장 변동성을 전망하는 빅스지수,현대 통근버스 오토버스이른바 공포지수는 17대까지 떨어졌습니다.

금리 선물 시장에서는 미국 연방준비제도가 9월에 기준금리를 0.25%p 내릴 확률을 45.5%,한꺼번에 0.5%p 내릴 확률을 54.5%로 반영하고 있습니다.

지난주 시장을 흔들었던 경기 침체 우려에,미국 대형 소비재 기업인 홈디포 실적에도 관심이 쏠렸습니다.

홈디포 2분기 매출은 전년 동기 대비 0.6% 상승하며 시장 예상치를 웃돌았지만,홈디포는 소비자들이 지출을 신중하게 결정하고 있다며 연간 매출 전망을 하향 조정했습니다.
