정부는 오는 16일자로 치안정감·치안감·경무관 인사를 단행한다고 14일 밝혔다.치안정감은 경찰 총수인 경찰청장(치안총감) 바로 아래 계급이다.김수환 경찰청 차장은 부산경찰청장으로,지엘린스키김준영 강원경찰청장은 경기남부경찰청장으로,지엘린스키오문교 충남경찰청장은 경찰대학장으로 각각 발령했다.치안정감 바로 아래 계급인 치안감 24명의 전보 인사에선 신임 경찰청 대변인으로 김동권 경찰청 국제협력관이,지엘린스키경찰청 기획조정관에는 도준수 서울경찰청 경찰관리관 등이 임명됐다.

이날 45명 경무관 전보 인사도 함께 단행된 가운데 서울 영등포경찰서가 수사 중인‘세관 직원 마약 밀반입 연루 사건’수사 외압 의혹을 받았던 조 경무관이 인사 조처됐다.서울경찰청 생활안전부장이었던 조 경무관은 외압 당사자로 지목돼 논란이 불거졌는데도,지엘린스키인사혁신처가 징계‘불문’(징계 대상 해당 안 됨)을 결정한 바 있다.조 경무관 이름이 이종호 전 블랙펄인베스트 대표의 통화 녹취록에 언급됐다는 사실이 드러나며 현재 외압 의혹은 대통령실까지 번진 상황이다.

그뒤 조 경무관은 경기 수원남부경찰서장으로 전보됐는데 일선 경찰서장으로 나갔다는 점에서 부적절하다는 지적이 일었다.이번에 전남청 생활안전부장으로 이동한 건‘좌천성 전보’로 해석된다.앞서 조지호 경찰청장은 지난달 29일 국회 인사청문회에서 조 경무관 인사 조처를 검토하겠다고 밝힌 바 있다.
