(남양주=뉴스1) 양희문 기자 = 헬스장 회원권을 환불해 주지 않고 폐업한 40대 대표 2명이 경찰 수사를 받게 됐다.

경기 남양주남부경찰서는 사기 혐의로 헬스장 공동대표 A 씨와 B 씨를 불구속 입건했다고 12일 밝혔다.

이들은 지난 3월과 지난달 30일 남양주시에 있는 헬스장 2곳을 잇따라 폐업하면서 회원들에게 회원권을 환불해 주지 않은 혐의를 받고 있다.현재까지 파악된 피해자는 50명이며,보증업체 토토피해금액은 약 3000만원에 달하는 것으로 조사됐다.

경찰 관계자는 "피해자들로부터 고소장을 접수해 수사 중"이라며 "조만간 피고소인 조사도 진행할 예정"이라고 말했다.
