대한상의 조사…실제 AI 활용 필요성에 비해 활용도 저조

(서울=연합뉴스) 김아람 기자 = 데이터 활용과 공유 관련 각종 규제로 금융권에서 인공지능(AI) 활용에 어려움을 겪고 있다는 조사 결과가 나왔다.

대한상공회의소는 최근 금융지주,은행,증권,산청 로또 명당보험 등 116개 금융사 IT 직무 종사자를 대상으로 AI 활용 현황과 정책 개선과제를 조사한 결과 이같이 나타났다고 18일 밝혔다.

응답자의 대다수인 88.8%가 업무상 AI 활용이 필요하다고 답했으나,산청 로또 명당실제 AI를 활용하고 있다는 응답은 51.0%로 격차가 컸다.

다만 응답 기업의 69.6%는 AI 관련 신규사업 계획이 있다고 밝혔고,산청 로또 명당계획이 없다는 기업은 13.2%에 그쳤다.

금융사의 AI 활용 필요성과 활용도

금융사의 AI 활용 분야는 동향 분석 및 금융상품 개발이 47.5%로 가장 많았다.

또 챗봇 등 고객 응대(41.5%),고객분석 및 성향 예측(31.5%),산청 로또 명당보이스피싱 예방 등 이상 거래 탐지(25.5%) 등 분야에서도 많이 활용됐다.

AI 도입과 활용에 있어 애로사항으로는 65.7%가 규제로 인한 활용 제한을 꼽았다.

이어 인프라·기술력 부족(52.5%),비용·인력 부족(47.1%),금융사고 대비 미흡(42.6%),산청 로또 명당양질의 데이터 부족(39.7%)에 대한 지적도 나왔다.

AI 활용을 저해하는 구체적 규제 사례로는 망분리 규제(76.5%),산청 로또 명당데이터 결합 규제(75.0%),금융지주 계열사 간 데이터 공유 규제(73.3%) 등이 꼽혔다.

아울러 기술 발전에 비해 느린 제도 정비 속도(61.8%),정부 인허가 절차 지연(33.3%) 등도 거론됐다.

송승혁 대한상의 금융산업팀장은 "우리 금융사들은 각종 규제로 AI 경쟁에서 도태될 수 있다는 우려와 위기의식이 심각하다"며 "정부 정책 방향인 밸류업을 촉진하는 차원에서도 금융권의 AI 활용도 제고를 위해 각종 데이터 관련 규제를 획기적으로 개선해야 할 것"이라고 말했다.
