국내 전기차 판매 1위인 테슬라코리아가 배터리 제조사 정보는 공개하지 않은 채 자사 차량의 안전성을 강조하고 나섰습니다.

테슬라코리아는 오늘(15일) 오전 고객들에게 이메일 공지를 통해 "테슬라 배터리 관리 시스템을 통해 배터리 이상 증상이 감지되면 고객에게 이를 알리고 긴급 출동 서비스나 서비스 센터 예약 등의 지원을 제공할 수 있다"고 안내했습니다.

이 같은 공지는 최근 인천 화재로 전기차에 대한 국민 불안감이 확산하는 데 따른 테슬라 측의 대응 조치로 풀이됩니다.

다만,월드컵 메시지난 13일 발표된 정부의 배터리 제조사 정보 공개 권고에도 테슬라코리아는 홈페이지 등을 통해 관련 정보를 공개하지 않고 있습니다.
