오늘 오전 서울역 인근 한국철도공사 서울본부 건물에서 불이 났습니다.

세 시간 반 만에 불은 모두 꺼졌지만,화재 영향으로 일부 역에서 승차권 현장 발매에 차질이 빚어지고 있습니다.

정해주 기자,지금 상황은 어떤가요?

[기자]

네,오전 내내 줄지어 서 있던 소방차와 구급차 등은 화재 진압이 마무리되면서 대부분 철수한 모습입니다.

서울역 바로 옆에 있는 이곳 코레일 서울본부 건물에서 불이 난 건 오늘 오전 9시 40분쯤입니다.

소방당국은 3시간 반만인 오후 1시 10분쯤 불을 모두 껐습니다.

화재 당시엔 건물 내부에 직원 등 30여 명이 있었지만 모두 긴급 대피하면서 인명피해는 없었습니다.

불은 건물 4층에서 시작된 것으로 추정되는데요.

배관을 타고 8층까지 화재가 확대되면서 일대에 연기가 자욱했다고 주민들이 목격담을 전했습니다.

또 이 불로 청파로 숙대입구역 교차로에서 서울역 서부교차로 방면 도로가 한때 전면 통제되기도 했습니다.

열차 이용에 차질은 없었나요?

[기자]

열차 운행에는 이상이 없었지만 일부 KTX 역에서 승차권 현장 발권에 차질이 빚어지고 있습니다.

코레일 측은 서울역과 익산역,광주송정역,롯데 야구 투수정읍역 등 4개 역에서는 승차권 현장 발권이 정상운영되고 있다고 밝혔는데요.

이외 다른 역에서는 승차권 현장 조회와 발매,환불 작업 등이 제대로 이뤄지지 않는 것으로 파악되고 있습니다.

코레일 측은 홈페이지와 모바일 승차권 예약 앱인 '코레일톡',또는 열차 내 승무원 발권 시스템 등을 이용해달라고 요청했습니다.
