드론이 무언가를 싣고 망망대해 위를 날아갑니다.

10분을 날아 도착한 곳은 제주도 남서쪽의 작은 섬 가파도입니다.

드론 밑의 네모난 상자 안에 실린 것은 최신형 스마트폰.

드론으로 배송하는 건데,스마트폰을 사려고 제주도 본섬까지 나가지 않아도 되고 배가 끊긴 시간에도 제품을 받아볼 수 있습니다.

일주일 걸리던 배송 기간도 하루 정도로 대폭 줄어듭니다.

국내 최초로 스마트폰 드론 배송을 시작한 삼성전자는,프로야구 선수 일과태블릿과 워치 등 점차 품목을 늘려갈 계획입니다.

치킨과 햄버거도 하늘을 날아 외딴섬으로 배달됩니다.

치킨을 먹으려면 배를 타고 15분을 나가야 했지만,이제는 드론에 실려 3분 30초면 바다를 건너옵니다.

- "오후 3시 반까지 여객선이 운행하니까 손자나 지인들이 보내면 인수해서 드시죠.손자 없는 분들 같은 경우에는 그런 걸 접하기가 좀 힘드니까…."

제주도는 배달음식과 생활용품 외에 각 섬의 특산품도 드론을 이용해 나르기로 했습니다.

- "필요물품의 대상을 확대할 예정에 있습니다.갑자기 아프신 분들이 계실 수 있기 때문에 의약품도 배송할 수 있는 부분을 검토 중에 있습니다."

드론 배송이 본격화되면서,프로야구 선수 일과드론이 우리 일상 속으로 깊숙이 들어오고 있습니다.
