기후동행쉼터는 CU·GS25 편의점 58곳,2002년 월드컵 현역신한은행 197곳,2002년 월드컵 현역KT 대리점 250곳 등 총 505곳이다.새롭게 참여하는 KT 대리점은 66㎡(20평) 규모에 상담창구 외 시민을 위한 유휴 테이블을 갖춰 쾌적하고 편안한 환경을 제공한다.시원한 생수와 부채를 무료로 제공하고,2002년 월드컵 현역무선 인터넷(wifi)과 충전시설도 이용할 수 있다.서울시는 기후동행쉼터로 활용되는 KT 대리점을 시민이 쉽게 찾을 수 있도록 인증 스티커를 이달 안으로 부착할 예정이다.

서울시가 운영 중인 폭염대피시설은 총 3116곳이다.시민 누구나 이용 가능한 곳은 ▲무더위쉼터(주민센터 등) 2121곳 ▲기후동행쉼터(민간시설) 505곳 ▲쿨한도서관(시·구립도서관) 179곳 ▲(지하철)역사 내 쉼터 90곳 등 4개 유형 총 2895곳이다.모든 시민이 이용할 수 있는 폭염대피시설은 서울안전누리(safecity.seoul.go.kr)에서 쉽게 확인할 수 있도록 했다.
