만세의 수상 소식은 지난 10일 온라인 커뮤니티를 통해 먼저 알려졌다.최근 tvN 예능프로그램 '유퀴즈'를 통해 근황을 전한 삼둥이들에게 아이스크림을 선물했다는 네티즌은 "지난주에 공기관이랑 신문사에서 주최했던 초등학생 금연 그림 공모전에서 우리 만세가 동상을 받았다는 소식이 있다.우리 만세가 그림에 정말 진심이다"라는 글을 덧붙였다.
한편 올해 초등학교 6학년이 된 삼둥이는 지난 3일 방송된 '유퀴즈'에 출연해 훌쩍 성장한 근황을 전했다.이날 만세는 내년이면 중학생이 되는데 꿈이 있느냐는 질문에 "홍익대학교를 진학하고 싶은 꿈이 있다.미술학과를 가고 싶다"고 밝혔다.
