국가유산청은 3일 정부대전청사에서 열린 고도보존육성중앙심의위원회 회의에서 고령군을 새로운 고도로 지정하기로 의결했다고 밝혔다.새로운 고도 지정은 약 20년 만이다.

1978년 지산동 32호 무덤에서 출토된 금동관(정식 명칭은 '고령 지산동 32호분 출토 금동관')의 경우,월드컵 베이비 02년생5∼6세기 대가야의 공예 수준을 보여주는 유물로,월드컵 베이비 02년생현재 보물로 지정돼 있다.
