개보위는 개인정보 보호조치 위반으로 과징금 9천450만 원,월드컵 백과통지·신고 위반으로 과태료 1천600만 원을 부과하고,월드컵 백과처분 결과를 위원회 사이트에 공표하기로 했습니다.

개보위는 또 공모전 사이트를 운영하면서 13만 건이 넘는 개인정보를 유출하고,월드컵 백과이를 뒤늦게 알린 머니투데이 방송에 과징금과 과태료 7천9백여만 원을 부과하기로 의결했습니다.
