연구개발특구진흥재단 광주연구개발특구본부(본부장 윤병한)는 3일 광주이노비즈센터에서 지역 특화분야의 기술혁신을 위한 '특화분야 기술융합 협의회'를 개최했다.

이번 협의회에서는 광주특구 4개 특화분야인 산업활용·혁신인공지능(AI),터닝메카드 월드컵반도체 첨단 패키징,터닝메카드 월드컵AI 융합,모빌리티 의장·전장부품의 특허 융합 포트폴리오를 구축하고 공동연구를 신규로 기획하기 위해 관련 분야 우수 연구자의 기술 교류가 진행했다.

첫 번째 모빌리티 기술융합 협의회에서는 광주특구가 강점을 보유한 차량용 스마트 조명 등을 중심으로 전남대학교,터닝메카드 월드컵영남대학교 등 6개 연구기관의 연구자가 특허를 사업화할 수 있는 방안 등에 대해 논의했다.

두 번째 반도체 패키지 기술융합 협의회에서는 지역적으로 육성이 필요한 신기술 현황을 공유하고 산학연 공동연구 기획을 위한 중점 사항에 대해 논의했다.

광주특구는 특화분야 육성을 위해 관련 분야의 특허 분석으로 우수 연구자 및 기업을 발굴했다.공동연구 기획을 위해 기관 및 연구자별 공동연구 현황 정보를 분석했다.광주특구는 이러한 정보를 바탕으로 특허 융합 통한 기술이전,산학연 공동연구 기획 등을 위해 전국의 우수 연구자가 교류할 수 있는 기술융합 협의회를 지속적으로 추진할 예정이다.

윤병한 광주특구 본부장은 “글로벌 과학기술 경쟁 시대에는 지역의 선도적인 기술 간 융합이 필요한 상태”라며 “지역의 혁신을 선도할 수 있도록 공동연구 기획,특허융합 등을 통해 적극적인 기술혁신에 앞장서도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
