한반도 선사 문화의 정수를 담은 반구대 암각화,신라 불교예술의 최고 걸작인 석굴암을 생생하게 느낄 수 있는 사진이 공개됩니다.

국립문화유산연구원은 국보 '울주 대곡리 반구대 암각화'와 '경주 석굴암 석굴'을 촬영한 사진 403장을 누리집을 통해 공개한다고 오늘(19일) 밝혔습니다.

이번에 공개되는 자료는 원로 미술사학자인 강우방 일향한국미술사연구원장과 사진작가로 활동한 고(故) 한석홍 씨가 각각 촬영해 연구원에 기증한 것입니다.

한국문화정보원과 협업해 보정·복원 작업을 마쳤습니다.

강우방 일향한국미술사연구원장이 촬영한 암각화에 새겨진 고래,리플커뮤니티거북이,얼굴 모습
강우방 원장이 1990년대에 촬영한 '울주 대곡리 반구대 암각화' 사진은 'ㄱ'자 모양으로 꺾인 절벽 암반에 새겨진 다양한 흔적을 촬영한 자료입니다.

총 108점이 새로 공개됩니다.

사람의 얼굴을 새긴 듯한 바위그림부터 고래,리플커뮤니티표범,리플커뮤니티거북이 등을 볼 수 있습니다.

고 한석홍 작가가 촬영한 석굴암 사진은 본존불인 석가여래불상과 주위 벽면에 조각한 보살상,역사상,리플커뮤니티천왕상 등 다양한 불상 모습을 담고 있습니다.

석굴암 사진은 2021년에 주요 사진 69점을 공개한 이래 꾸준히 활용돼 왔습니다.

연구원의 누리집 자료마당을 통해 사진을 내려받은 횟수는 3만 2천 회를 넘습니다.

연구원은 '석굴암 그 사진'(2020) 도록에 수록된 사진의 컬러·흑백 촬영본과 일부를 보전한 사진 등 총 295점을 추가로 공개했습니다.

연구원 관계자는 "전문가 자문을 거쳐 보정·복원한 사진을 다양하게 활용함으로써 기증 자료의 의미와 가치도 커질 것"이라고 말했습니다.

공개된 자료는 공공누리 1유형으로,자유롭게 활용할 수 있습니다.
