서울 양천구 목동6단지가 최고 49층 2173가구로 재건축된다.전체가 서울시 신속통합기획으로 진행 중인 목동 1~14단지 중 정비계획이 확정된 첫번째 단지다.나머지 13개 단지도 서울시 자문을 받고 있는 만큼 하반기엔 목동 재건축의 전반적인 윤곽이 드러날 전망이다.

서울시는 3일 열린 제6차 도시계획위원회 수권소위원회에서 목동6단지 아파트 재건축 정비계획안을 수정가결했다고 4일 밝혔다.계획에 따르면 이 단지는 최고 49층,야구선수 이정후15개 동,2173가구(공공임대 273가구)로 지어진다.단지는 마이스(MICE) 시설로 개발 예정인 목동종합운동장·유수지와 이대목동병원,야구선수 이정후안양천 등과 맞닿은 입지를 갖췄다.상부공원화를 진행 중인 국회대로와 접하고 있어 주거환경이 우수하다는 평가다.

서울시는 북쪽의 목동동로(25ｍ)와 서쪽의 목동동로18길(15ｍ)을 각각 5ｍ,4ｍ 넓혀 자전거와 보행 이동이 쉽도록 보행로를 조성하기로 했다.목동종합운동장·유수지와의 연결을 위해 국회대로 상부에 입체 보행육교를 계획했다.안양천으로의 접근성 강화를 위한 엘리베이터를 놓아 주변 지역과의 연계성을 강화했다.

목동 14개 단지 중 1~3단지와 이번 6단지를 제외한 나머지는 신속통합기획을 통해 서울시의 자문을 받고 있다.앞서 4단지와 14단지는 서울시 자문 결과를 토대로 주민 공람 절차를 진행했다.용도지역 상향에 따른 기부채납 이슈 때문에 준비가 늦어진 목동 1~3단지도 양천구에 신속통합기획 자문형을 신청한 상태다.1~3단지를 제외한 나머지 단지는 연내 정비구역 지정이 유력하다.서울시는 "신속통합기획으로 단지별 정비구역 결정이 빨라질 것"이라고 밝혔다.

한병용 서울시 주택실장은 “목동6단지는 목동택지지구 신속통합기획의 선도 사례”라며 “다른 단지들도 탄력을 받아 목동 지구 전체의 주거환경이 크게 개선될 것으로 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
