올해 상반기 지식재산권을 침해한 이른바 '짝퉁'(가품) 수입품 상당수가 중국산인 것으로 나타났다.또한 짝퉁 수입품 중에선 샤넬 브랜드를 모방한 물품의 금액이 가장 컸다.

15일 국회 기획재정위원회 소속 박성훈 국민의힘 의원이 관세청에서 받은 자료에 따르면 올해 들어 6월까지 지식재산권을 침해해 국경 단계에서 적발된 수입품 규모는 934억원(34건)이었다.

짝퉁 수입 국가를 분석한 결과 중국이 전체의 83.6%에 해당하는 781억원(24건) 규모로 대부분을 차지했다.

브랜드별로 분석하면 올해 상반기 짝퉁 물건 중 샤넬이 487억원(52.1%)으로 절반이 넘었다.이어 고야드(75억원),토토 추석이벤트루이뷔통(41억원),토토 추석이벤트구찌(20억원) 등의 순이었다.

품목별로는 가방류가 653억원어치로 69.9%를 차지해 가장 비중이 높았다.이어 의류·직물이 196억원어치(21.0%)이 차지했다.

박성훈 의원은 "해외직구 증가와 함께 지식재산권을 침해한 중국산 짝퉁 제품의 불법 유통까지 늘고 있다"며 "이를 진품으로 오인해 구입하는 소비자의 피해와 국내외 기업의 경제적 피해를 방지하기 위해서라도 국경단계부터 더 촘촘한 단속망을 구축해야 한다"고 말했다.
