티머니는 지난 11일 애플 아이폰 OS(iOS)를 대상으로 모바일 앱 티머니페이를 모바일티머니로 개편했다.

개편 후 앱 내부 소스에 사용자 인터페이스(UI) 요소로 추정하는 애플페이 관련 로고가 추가됐다.향후 애플페이 교통카드 기능을 염두에 두고 이미지를 넣어둔 것으로 보인다.

특히 한 이미지에는 "이제 아이폰으로 대중교통에서 결제해 보세요"라는 문구가 담겨 있었다.

모바일티머니는 이번에 애플 지갑 기능도 지원한다.지갑은 결제 카드를 보관해 애플페이 결제를 돕는다.애플페이를 위한 필수 기능이다.앞서 현대카드도 앱에 지갑을 넣고 일주일 뒤에 공식적으로 애플페이를 도입했다.

이번 앱 개편 주요 사항 중 하나는 접근성 관련 품질 인증을 획득하고,타임 바카라전반적인 앱 기능과 안정성을 개선했다는 점이다.애플과 티머니는 지난해 애플페이 교통카드 필드테스트를 마치고 보안·안정성을 검토하는 단계로 알려졌다.

티머니는 하루 만에 관련 이미지를 삭제했다.티머니 관계자는 "애플페이 교통카드 도입과 관련해 확인해 줄 수 없다"고 말했다.

애플페이와 밀접한 카드업계도 촉각이 곤두섰다.한 카드업계 관계자는 "국내 애플페이 확산의 키는 교통카드 기능"이라며 "교통카드가 되면 신한카드,타임 바카라KB국민카드,타임 바카라우리카드(비씨카드)가 도입하는 데도 속도가 붙을 것으로 보인다"고 말했다.

신한·국민·우리카드는 애플페이 제휴에 관심이 있지만,타임 바카라애플과의 협상이 길어지는 것으로 알려졌다.
